For the last few weeks, you may have noticed something happening next door. Covered windows. A little construction noise. A suspicious amount of furniture moving around. And, most recently, a sign in the window: Making room for more.

Now we can finally tell you what that means. The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™ has grown. And we would love for you to come see it.

Making Room for More

When we opened The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™, we knew we wanted to create more than a place to buy yarn. We wanted to create a place where people could gather. Where projects could be started, mistakes could be fixed, friendships could happen, stories could be told, and people could simply settle in for a while.

And then something wonderful happened.

You actually did.

Cubs & Kits grew. Classes grew. Events grew. The Speakeasy Stage came alive. Travelers began making Allegan part of their adventures. And somewhere along the way, our little Den started feeling a little less little.

So when the space next door became available, we decided it was time. Time to make room for more. More yarn.?More stitches.?More stories.?More music.?More room to gather.

You’re Invited to Our Grand Reopening

Come celebrate the newly expanded The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™ with us and be among the first to explore the new space.

Saturday, September 19?11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.?Downtown Allegan, Michigan

Whiskey & Wine will be performing on the Speakeasy Stage starting at 2 p.m.

Bring a project if you'd like and enjoy the newly expanding Den area.

You’ll find an expanded shop, a much larger Den, our Speakeasy Stage in its new home, more room for classes and gatherings, and quite a few little details we’ve been keeping hidden behind those covered windows.

Some things will feel brand new. Others will feel like they’ve somehow always belonged here. Because through all of this, the most important thing isn’t changing.

The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™ is still a place for makers.

A place to wander. A place to discover something wonderful. A place to pull up a chair. And a place where handmade still matters.

We can’t wait to open the doors and show you what we’ve been making room for.
