Live from The Den
The July People’s Choice Awards
|
|
Every month, the yarns leaving The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™ tell us a little about what our community is making, planning, and dreaming about.
July’s makers were a wonderfully unpredictable bunch. Some were reaching for cool summer cottons. Others were already planning cozy garments, baby gifts, plush creations, and holiday surprises.
The votes were cast one skein at a time, and the results are officially in.

The “Already Thinking About December” Award
The 2026 Holiday Gift Calendar
|
|
Yes, one of July’s best sellers was our 2026 Holiday Gift Calendar.
While some of us are still looking for our sunglasses, other makers are already reserving twenty-four (Christmas), twelve (Yule), or eight days (Hanukkah) of handmade holiday surprises. We admire their planning.

|
And the Real Winner Is...
The thing we love most about July’s results is that there was no single kind of project taking over The Den.
Some of you were making summer tops and accessories. Some were beginning garments for cooler weather. Some were preparing for new babies, creating plush companions, or getting an impressively early start on the holidays.
Every skein leaving the shop has a different destination, and we get to be a small part of every one of those stories.
