Happy New Year dear friends!
There’s a certain quiet that arrives after the holidays.
Not the empty kind—but the kind that feels like exhaling after a long, joyful breath. The decorations are still up, the warmth still lingers, but something has shifted. We’re no longer rushing toward a moment. We’re standing inside it.
This past week at The Bear & Fox Yarn Den felt exactly like that.
We wrapped up The Den of Cheer with deep gratitude—for the laughter, the conversations, the familiar faces, and the new ones. And rather than leaping straight into the next busy season, we paused long enough to ask: How do we want this year to feel?
That’s where the phrase “Dreaming the Year Into Being” came from.
It isn’t a resolution or a checklist. It’s an intention. A reminder to move gently, to listen closely, and to build with care. You may have noticed that tone showing up in our recent posts and imagery—less about promotion, more about presence.
This week also marked a meaningful milestone: the Speakeasy Skein Society stepped fully into the world. Not just announced, but joined. Packages are being prepared, stories are being tucked inside, and something that began as a quiet idea is now finding its way into your hands. That kind of moment never gets old.
What stood out most, though, was how steady it all felt.
There was excitement, yes—but also calm. Encouragement from our community. Thoughtful conversations. A sense that what we’re building belongs right where it is.
As we move forward, we’re carrying that rhythm with us. Posting when it feels right. Creating with intention. Leaving space for rest alongside inspiration.
The Den's hours are back to normal and we look forward to seeing everyone soon. Thank you for being part of this unfolding story—for showing up, for sharing your time, and for dreaming alongside us.
Here’s to entering the year gently.
With warmth,

Drew & Justin ????????
