A Two-Session Crochet Class
Turn petals into personality in this two-session African Flower Bunny workshop at The Bear & Fox Yarn Den™.
In this class, you’ll learn how to crochet the beloved African Flower motif and transform it from a flat shape into a dimensional, sculpted woodland companion. This project combines modular crochet techniques with thoughtful shaping and finishing, giving you skills you can use far beyond this bunny.
During Session One, we’ll focus on constructing the African Flower motifs, mastering clean color changes, and maintaining even tension for consistent shaping. You’ll leave with multiple completed motifs and a clear plan for how to complete the remaining ones.
In Session Two, we’ll bring everything together — joining motifs in three dimensions, shaping the body and head, adding ears and tail, stuffing for structure, and finishing details that give your bunny life and personality.
This class is ideal for confident beginners and intermediate crocheters who are comfortable with:

Chain, single crochet, and double crochet

Basic stitch counting
You’ll walk away with a nearly finished (or fully finished!) African Flower Bunny, a reusable modular skill set, and the confidence to design your own motif-based creations.
